  1. This seems to be a severely biased web site. I wrote a comment on that site stating that there are more birds killed in the Alberta Tar Ponds, drilling rig blowouts and oil washed ashore by shipping disasters than wind turbines, but my comment was not accepted.
At least they accepted my comment about PEI’s eagle population increase from one lonely eagle some 20 years ago to hundreds. One has to be completely blind not to see at least one eagle or osprey no matter where you go on PEI. And we probably have more wind turbines per area than most parts of Canada.

    1. Thanks for noticing that we are a severely biased website. We really do not want to see so many birds being killed year after year by wind turbines, especially in the big wind farms.

You are completely wrong about more birds being killed in the Alberta Tar Ponds, drilling rig blowouts, and oil washed ashore. I’d like to see your numbers. In Broken Wing: Birds, Blades and Broken Promises, we give lots of real numbers, not wild guesstimates, about the number of birds killed every year by wind turbines.
